Collection: Leave In vs Regular Conditioner

Have you been wondering what the difference is between a leave in conditioner vs. regular conditioner? Well, you are in luck! Here at Debutante Beauty, we have both so we know a thing or two about the difference and why you need both in your hair care routine.

The obvious difference is that leave-in conditioners are formulated to be left in your hair while a deep conditioner is formulated to be left on hair for a short period of time and rinsed out. The other key differences are that regular conditioners and deep conditioners are heavier and used to hydrate and strengthen hair after shampoo while leave-in conditioners are used to maintain hydration between shampooing hair.

Differences between Leave-In Conditioner and Deep Conditioner

It is important to have both a deep conditioner and leave-in conditioner in your routine to maximize moisture and hydration while preventing damage. Both our deep conditioner, Deep Work, and our leave-in, Better Days, include organic oils and are mostly plant based. Since our products are focused on the ingredients and health of your hair, we chose to include argan oil in our products because it softens and hydrates hair, prevents breakage, increases shine, and protects hair during styling.
